ACCOUNT

Account & Subscription

Covers account creation, platform support, device changes, subscription access, and configuration refreshes. Subscription details are account-delivery information and should be used only between the user panel and your own client.

Is an email address required to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Save both securely so you can recover your login details after changing browsers or devices. Once registered, open the user panel to view plans, orders, client downloads, and subscription details.

Which client platforms does 14VPN support?

Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux are supported. Client downloads and subscription access are available in the user panel. After signing in, open the download area for your device and follow the page instructions to import the subscription for your account.

Do I need to purchase again after changing devices?

No purchase is required just because you changed devices. 14VPN has no device-count limit, and the same account can be used on supported platforms. Sign in to the user panel on the new device and obtain the client and current subscription again. When retiring the old device, also remove its subscription configuration from the old client.

Where can I find the subscription link?

Sign in to the user panel and open the client or subscription section. The marketing pages do not publish actual subscription URLs or provide direct links to static installation packages. When copying a subscription, preserve the entire link, do not manually edit its parameters, and do not forward subscription details to anyone else.

Do I need to update the subscription after a plan expires or traffic changes?

Update the subscription after renewing, upgrading, or when the route list changes. First find the update subscription or refresh configuration option in the client, then select a route again. If old content still appears, delete the old local configuration and import it again from the user panel.

CONNECTION

Connections & Issues

Connection issues should be separated into four cases: a connection that cannot be established at all, access problems after connecting, an individual app not using the route, and subscription update failures. Each symptom requires checks in different places.

What should I check first if the client cannot connect at all?

Confirm that the plan is still active, update the subscription in the client, and check whether the current network can open ordinary websites. Then switch to another route and reconnect. If every route fails, test again on a different access network and record the operating system, client, exact error text, and circumstances of the failure.

What should I do if it says connected but websites will not open?

First distinguish a route connection issue from a DNS resolution issue. Disconnect and reconnect, then try a route in a different region. Close old browser tabs and open the pages again. If only one specific site fails, test an ordinary website and the target site separately so a single-site issue is not mistaken for a complete connection failure.

Why is a particular app not using the accelerated route?

Check whether the client is using Global Mode or Rule Mode. Rule Mode may send some apps directly over the local network, so switch modes temporarily for comparison. Fully quit and reopen the target app so it does not reuse a session created before the connection was established. If necessary, check whether the system restricts the client from running in the background.

What should I do if a subscription update fails?

Confirm that you copied the complete subscription content currently shown in the user panel, then check whether leading or trailing spaces were included. Try updating again after disconnecting, or delete the invalid configuration and import it again. If it still fails, keep the error message for reference, but never paste the complete subscription details on a public page.

What should I do if the connection drops after the mobile client goes into the background?

Mobile operating systems may suspend background clients. In system settings, allow the client to run in the background and disable battery-saving restrictions for it. Do not immediately clear background tasks after connecting. If the connection is lost when switching from Wi-Fi to a mobile network, return to the client, reconnect, and then reopen the target app.

ROUTING

Speed & Routes

Choose routes based on the target region, current access network, and intended use. Speed tests are only a reference; real connection performance on commonly used websites, video services, and AI tools is more meaningful.

How should I choose a route region?

For ordinary websites, start with a geographically nearby region and adjust based on the actual connection. For services with regional requirements, choose an exit region that matches the target service. Do not stick to one route based only on its region name; switch and retest when congestion or target-service issues occur.

What should I do about slowdowns during peak hours?

Check the local access network and cross-border route separately. Pause bandwidth-heavy downloads and cloud syncing, then try another route in the same region. If that does not help, choose a nearby region. Keep the device, website, and video quality consistent during testing so you can tell whether the change comes from the route or the local network.

Why is a speed test fast while websites still load slowly?

A speed test reflects only part of the path between the test server and your current connection. The target site's server load, connection reuse, DNS resolution, and content-delivery region also affect real-world performance. Choose routes based on loading speed, playback buffering, and connection stability on the websites or apps you actually use.

How broad is 14VPN's route coverage?

Coverage currently includes 110+ countries / 210+ routes. The route count provides regional choice and switching capacity; it does not mean every target service should use the farthest region. In practice, test routes individually according to the target region, current network, and intended use.

Do I only need to switch routes when AI tools or streaming services do not work?

Switching routes is one troubleshooting step, but also check the target account's region settings, browser cache, and whether the app has retained an old connection. Close the target service, switch to a route matching the required region, confirm the connection is established, and reopen it. If ordinary websites work while the target service does not, the issue is usually not the entire network connection.

BILLING

Billing & Refunds

Before purchasing, distinguish monthly subscriptions that reset on the activation date from traffic packages that remain valid until used up. Check and submit orders, upgrades, payment status, and refund requests in the user panel.

Which monthly subscription plans are available?

Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Traffic resets monthly on the activation date. Choose based on your typical ongoing usage rather than a single download or a short speed test.

Which traffic packages are available?

Traffic packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain valid until used up and never expire. Traffic packages suit users with irregular usage who prefer consumption by total volume; monthly subscriptions reset traffic each month on the activation date.

When does monthly subscription traffic reset?

Monthly subscription traffic resets each month on the activation date, not on a calendar-month schedule. Check the current plan and traffic status in the user panel. Traffic packages remain valid until used up and never expire, so their rules differ from monthly subscriptions; confirm the package type before purchasing.

How are mid-term plan upgrades handled?

For a mid-term upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before submitting, check the target plan, current status, and order details shown in the user panel. After confirming everything is correct, continue. Once the upgrade is complete, refresh the user panel and update the subscription in the client.

Which payment methods are supported?

Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. The payment flow is available through the plans and orders section of the user panel. Before paying, verify the plan name, traffic allowance, and amount. After payment, return to the order page to check the status and do not submit the same order again.

How do I request a refund?

14VPN offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket section, describe the relevant order and refund request, and keep the order-page information available. Refund decisions are based on the order status and terms of service; do not submit account or subscription details in public comments.
